I admit: I'm fascinated by Apple's new Dynamic Desktop feature, which became widely available with the launch of macOS Mojave last week. There's just something magical about a wallpaper that shows a fixed-point view that changes as your day goes by. Mac factory reset which apps come with.
While you’re there, you can also grab every iOS wallpaper in one image, as well as all the iPhone 11 wallpapers combined. TNW doesn’t show every Mac wallpaper used but does provide an overview.
However, Apple only offers two Dynamic Desktop wallpapers by default: One a beautiful photo of the Mojave desert, and the other a somewhat bland, ever-changing color gradient.
Dynamic Desktop change its behavior depends on Your Local Date and Time, When you turn on Dynamic Desktop, your System will detect Date and Time of your location from location service. Some users have an issue after turn on location service, they unable to change or use Time Shifting Wallpaper on Dynamic Desktop. When in the wallpaper settings select the folder that contains the picture(s) you want to use. Then below there is a + & - box, select + to add the folder to the wallpaper list. You can now select the wallpaper and it will stay when rebooted etc. Well it worked for me anyway.
If that's not enough for you, there's a solution: A couple of them, in fact.

Back in June, developer Marcin Czachurski discovered that Apple's dynamic wallpapers are a bunch of images and a short text file describing certain properties of the image, such as altitude and azimuth (which pinpoint the position of the Sun when the image was taken).
With this knowledge, you can create a dynamic wallpaper yourself. The technical aspects of it, described here, aren't too complicated, and Czachurski even created a small command line app that makes it easier. But taking a bunch of high-quality photographs — especially if you want to do a fixed view of the same place at different times in the day — will likely be a bit much for most people.
Luckily, some crafty folks have already created dynamic wallpapers using this method. Czachurski himself shared a beautiful Google Earth-based wallpaper — you can find it here. And people on Reddit have shared their creations or findings here.
Dynamic wallpapers aren't simple images; they come in the form of .heic files. To install them, first set your wallpaper to any dynamic wallpaper in Mojave. Then just right click on the .heic file and choose 'Set Desktop Picture.' The wallpaper should show up and continue to dynamically change as your day goes on. To make things a little easier, you can also move the .heic files to the /Library/Desktop Pictures folders, and Mojave will then list them as options when you go to Settings — Destkop & Screen Saver. Beware, though, that if the files aren't properly constructed, things can get messy; for example, Apple might not show the correct icons for these new dynamic backgrounds.
There's an even easier solution. An app called 24 Hour Wallpaper, available on Apple's App Store offers a total of 58 wallpapers. Some of these have a fixed view, while some are simply a mix of different images related to the same topic, but they all look pretty good. The app is compatible with macOS Mojave but it also works on older macOS versions, down to macOS 11.11. The catch is that the app is not free; it costs $6.99.
I've tested the app and it has a surprising amount of options, including the ability to choose any location in the world, customize sunrise and sunset times and set a 'playlist' that continuously changes your dynamic wallpaper to a different set of images at an interval of your choosing. You can set different wallpapers on different displays as well — though I haven't found an option to set a different wallpaper for each virtual desktop.

There's even an option to let macOS do the work, which disables most of the extra features and essentially just sets a new dynamic wallpaper while the app resides in the background as a simple wallpaper gallery.
Hopefully, someone will create a repository of dynamic wallpapers down the road and finding these will be as easy as finding a regular wallpaper. For now, though, any of the methods described above should quench your thirst for dynamic desktop goodness.

The wallpapers do not persist if you remove a space and later re-add it however. Mac office 2016 mac download.
This is absolutely true. In Lion, spaces and their desktop pictures are identified by UUIDs internally, rather than by number or by position on a grid. When you delete one, it's actually removed, and its UUID is (as far as I know) forgotten. Thus, it loses your fancy picture choice. Really the only solution is to not go around deleting spaces, unfortunately.
Just right-click desktop, select 'Change desktop image' or whatever the name is (sorry, not at the mac now) and set the background image there.
Close System preferences and repeat the process on another desktop. That sounds easier than dragging it around in MC.
You can also right-click on the desktop and select 'Change Desktop Background'
Find my phone for pc free download. On 10.6, I had my desktop set to rotate automatically through a folder of images (System Preferences --> Desktop & Screen Saver --> Desktop --> Change Picture Every 30 Minutes). When I upgraded, this setting was preserved, and I found that each space was automatically assigned a different image from the folder.
Doesn't work if you're running an app full screen in one of the spaces. It needs to be a space where you can see the desktop.
Is there a quick way to apply it to all spaces? What about the default for new spaces? https://vehicleskyey.weebly.com/blog/get-my-ssh-key-for-git-macos.
The fastest way I have found is to set the desired image for Space 1 and then close all other Spaces. Adding them automatically uses the image of #1.

This is kind of a lame solution, but it’s all I’ve found. If anyone has a better way, we’d love to hear it!
I want to do the reverse: I want to know what to do in Lion so that the same desktop appears on all spaces, no matter how many I create.
That's simple: just remove your existing spaces, set the picture you want on Desktop 1, and all subsequent desktops will use that picture unless you set them otherwise.
Correction: GeekTools seem to display fine under Lion, but I've yet to find a way to edit existing GeekLets. The developer is working on a Lion compatible version.

Right-click on System Preference in the Dock and select Options -> Assign To -> All Desktops. Right-click on desktop and select 'Change Desktop Background.' Swipe to each space and the app will follow you. (Though it will appear below windows from other active apps. If so, just click the dock icon.)
I have my settings set to change desktop pics every 30 minutes. (<http://macdesktops.com> has a great selection of desktop pics at a variety of high resolutions, including those for wide screen Macs) I found that you can set each desktop setting individually, including the options for 'Change picture', frequency, and 'Random order', but NOT 'Translucent menu bar'. And no, you can not set the desktop picture for a full screen app because a full screen app has no desktop. Why Doesn't Wallpaper Change For All Desktops Macos Free
An addition to my previous post:
The quickest way to set all desktops is to do as I previously commented, but, with System Preferences active, select the menu item System Preferences -> Hide Others. The windows on each desktop will now be hidden so all you will see as you swipe through is the desktop and the System Preferences window. To quickly set all desktops to the same pic, select the pic you want in System Preferences and as you swipe the window will remain in the same position with the desired pic selected. However, on each desktop you need to click a different pic and then click the desire one again. You can also use the right and left arrow keys. With one hand on the track pad and the other hand on the arrow keys, quickly swipe to each desktop. As the System Preferences window appears on each desktop, press the left then the right arrow key. Press -> press -> swipe. Press -> press -> swipe. <.repeat.> Boom! Done!
Hi. I don't know if this thread is dead, but I'm having some problems with Spaces (Desktops) in Lion and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Here's my situation:
I created 7 Desktops (Spaces) and assigned about thirty apps to the different Desktops. I usually have about 15 apps running at once, not all 30. Then I assigned a different Desktop background to each Desktop. When I activate Mission Control, I can see the different background for each Desktop. However, when I leave Mission Control, each Desktop shows the same background. When I type Control-left arrow or Control-right arrow to move to a different Desktop, that Desktop's specific background flashes for a second, but then goes back to the same background. As for which background seems to be the one that is the same (that is, appears as the background of all Desktops): if I change the background of any Desktop, then that changed background image is what appears as the background for all Desktops. Again, the backgrounds still look fine in Mission Control. I tried restarting my Mac to see if that would help. It didn't. In that case, because I hadn't changed any of the Desktop images, the background image from Desktop 1 is what's showing for all the Desktops. Either I'm doing something wrong, or there's a bug, which would seem odd since it's a glaring problem. If you have any suggestions, they would greatly appreciated. What you describe is happening here as well. https://worksclever850.weebly.com/amazon-echo-2-spotify-free.html. I upgraded to Lion (finally) and set different desktop pictures for each space/desktop. It worked fine earlier, but after returning to my computer it insists on showing the picture for Desktop 5 for all desktops, after flashing the correct picture for a second when switching.
Loren, hi. I found out that my problem had to do with a software program called Path Finder. If you are using Path Finder then you need to change one of its settings. I can't remember which one, but I can check if you are using Path Finder.
If you're not using Path Finder then I don't have a solution.
Can you assign different desktop links to each space?
